  1. Welcome to the site kyle. Anyways, I doubt Pedro has a serious problem on his hands. Hopefully he'll overcome it by his next start. It's a bit unfair to judge him against what many consider to be the top team in the majors.
  2. Wow, talk about a one in a million shot. One of the funnier shows on television saves you a boat load of trouble.
  3. Yurg, NO, the yankees can't win this one! They just can't! They got destroyed in the first inning, you cant bounce back from that.
  4. Welcome, enjoy posting here.
  5. Hey, welcome, thanks for the formal introduction. Glad you found us.
  6. Sox made a run late, but weren't good enough. 7-6 Anaheim was the final. Dammit.
  7. Cant....keep...eyes....open....damn time differences. I just hope they hold onto the lead while I get my beauty rest.
  8. Hahahahahahahaha! THe "I LOVE WOMENS VOLLEYBALL" username was a dead giveaway. Man, this is funny.
  9. Um, all sox? AL MVP: Manny AL Cy Young: Curt Schilling AL ROY: Youkilis. (oh, I guess the sox are just dominant) NL MVP: Don't follow too much, don't know NL Cy Young: Clemens, without a doubt. Perfect game shmerfect game. NL ROY: Same as for MVP But, as always, its too early to tell.
  10. Niekro played until he was 48 I believe. I doubt Wake could do that, no matter what type of pitcher he is. Modern day players just aren't resilient enough to do that.
  11. Hoping he stays (which I do as well) is different than him actually staying. I think we need to see how he plays when he finally comes back to make a final judgement, but I say its 60/40 in favor of him staying.
  12. Calm down, we've only lost 1 in a row, far from a losing streak!
  13. Such a late start, I hate the west coast games! I doubt I'll be able to watch it all.
  14. It would be cool, except for the fact that you live in Pawtucket (no offense if you live there anyone). And yes, my Nomar comment was in a heterosexual way.
  15. Yea, welcome. That's really cool (from a non-sox watching perspective) that you work in Africa. Where exactly? It's a pretty big place. And I think you do win distance wise (although, now that I think about it, someone is from Australia.) But, welcome again, how long are you back in the US for?
  16. In any case, some beautiful pictures: http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20040531/capt.kyte10305312311.garciaparra_rehab_kyte103.jpg http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20040531/capt.kyte10205312306.garciaparra_rehab_kyte102.jpg http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20040531/capt.kyte10105312257.garciaparra_rehab_kyte101.jpg Nomar batting is the sexiest a man can ever look.
  17. Where's Rolando Arrojo when you need him? Or Hipolito Pichardo!
  18. And Lowe immediately starts looking bad...
  19. Things aren't looking too good for this game. Players are tired, and Lowe is pitching. We just need to get lucky to win this.
  20. Ouch. That's not a good sign. 0-3 in AAA with a strikeout? But Shoppach hit a 460 foot homerun!
  21. Haha, suuuuuuuuuure......
  22. YES!!!!!!! 3-0 GREEN LIGHT PAYS OFF! McCarty!
  23. Damn, Foulke blew it. I didnt think I'd ever have to say that.
  24. It's a shame that curt couldn't stay perfect though...
