  1. Wow. Lowe is simply dominant. He's just making the yankee hitters look STUPID. I change my mind about him, he's a big game pitcher, despite his all too frequent implosions. When its really all on the line (see: now and game 5 alds last year) he turns it up and is downright amazing.
  2. Wow. I wouldn't have expected such harsh words from anyone in a public interview like that, but good for schill speaking his mind. It's the truth too. And welcome to the site DoubleDave!
  3. Count me out, not a big fan of hoops.
  4. Hahahaha at the shot of Varitek eating apple sauce.
  5. Lost in all of the runs right now is how well Lowe has been pitching. He's downright dominant. I thought he'd lose it early in the second when he walked whoever that was and kinda looked peeved (since he's a headcase out there usually), but he's settled down nicely.
  6. Uh-oh. Tell me it hasnt started.
  7. Johnny Damon!
  8. Quote from a yankee fan guy I know: YesZir: go yankeez, right him: ok him: first time you talk to me in 3 years him: actually... thats it him: thats all I got him: you're rigt him: this bites YesZir: yup
  9. A grand slam? I'll take it!!!
  10. Brown is done with 1 out in the second. The sox NEED to capitalize now, I'm sick and tired of LOB.
  11. I think the police in full riot gear certainly suppressed the chances of any form of brawl breaking out last night.
  12. Hehe, I like that one.
  13. Lol. For a definition of stupidity, read this thread: http://www.talksox.com/index.php?showtopic=1018
  14. And it's true. Don't try anything stupid.
  15. In any case, Gammons has called this “the most anticipated game in baseball history." I certainly hope it lives up to the hype, and the sox come out on top.
  16. I'm a bit too lazy to look this up, but is Brown's 0-1 5.93 ERA against the sox at yankee stadium, or is that at Fenway?
  17. Welcome to the site brett
  18. All these late nights are starting to affect me. I think I'm getting sick because of these damn sox and lack of sleep.
  19. I've said this to a lot of out of staters, but MLBTV on mlb.com can definitely be worth the investment. You get all of the games.
  20. Exactly. It's a victory in itself that the Sox have been able to do what no team in history has been able to do and to fight back from a 3-0 defecit to force a game 7. If they win tonight I don't know what I'll do. My head might explode.
  21. But the fact that he went to the yankees and what he's done/said with the yankees this year negates all that. A-Rod is horrible.
  22. Cards are my favorite national league team, cool. And I didn't know people actually lived in Arkansas, aside from Bill Clinton that is.
  23. I change my vote. Sox in 7!
  24. The point of this thread being......
