    Pay no mind to him. We had a link on BDD for a day in April of last year. I don't know what he's going on about. :shrug: You don't have to SHUT UP as he so eloquently put it.

    Sometimes he's fun to read, and I like him because he's a sox fan, but listening to him speak is painful. He can't seem to get a sentence out. In any case, congrats to him, I think he does deserve it, he's been such a baseball mainstay for so long and has a lot of influence.

    Understandably. Why offer an aging pitcher something you dont want to offer him? If he wants something the sox wont give, oh well, bye bye Pedro. As for this: I completely agree. If we could get Burnett I would not be worried whatsoever about our rotation like I am now. His health is the only worrysome part, Tommy John is never good.

    I think we've all gotten worked up over this here. It's Carl Pavano we're talking about, lets not forget that. Here he goes and signs a superstar contract, just because he's the hot item over the off season for some reason I can't begin to understand. Everyone seems to be caught up in it too. To be honest, the only thing I knew about this guy three months ago was that we traded him for Pedro. And now, semi-ironically, it seems like we've done that again.
