Don't even know if what has been said previously has anything to do with the current situation, but we must win at least two out of three from the A's. This is the worst team remaining on our schedule  - we must take advantage or fold our cards.  Don't count on a Texas loss.  Getting in the playoffs is not the goal - anything but winning the series sucks!

Is calling Password and Campbell again a really bad idea at this point? I mean you have to die of something. This team is plain anemic offensively speaking.

How often does he make a play that ordinary CFers couldn’t make that saved a run ? Vs how often does he come to the plate with runners in scoring position and whiff on balls out of the zone or hits those balls softly for an out?

Tom Glavine and Greg Maddox used to get by with 5-6 pitches in an inning.  Course they had an extra six inches on the outside corner with most umps.  Now our pitchers seem required to strike batters out and end up being done after 5-6 innings due to pitch count.  Don't know what this has to do with tonight's game but thought the pitch count got pretty high quickly.

Great job by Early. He mixed up his pitches well, had excellent command…I feel sorry for him that he’s pitching for such an anemic offensive team
