Ya know what's more difficult than a 3 game sweep?

First correct answer gets an all expense paid trip to Brower County. You're responsible for your own hospital bills.

My bad. That s/b Broward County.

He gets the K on a low pitch!!  Imagine that.

The batter's right, but as already noted Anthony got screwed on 2 calls in his first at bat.  Both below the zone.

Rodent isn't going 9, so the Sox still have a shot.

That's why I'm tracking his pitches.   Wed was an off day, but I think the Sox bullpen is a little tired.

Zero zone discipline from May tonight. He’s been absolutely awful early in the innings with all of his runs coming with less than two outs.  He’s just throwing and not pitching

Sox have killed a lot of worms tonight. Just when the worms thought they were safe.

Rodon is pitching well, just like Fried did.

3 dingers and 5 runs for the Yankees.

Ump screwed Judge on that at bat.

Breslow took a flyer on this guy and got what the Dodgers already knew.  Inconsistent and not mentally equipped to be consistent. No way we can rely on this guy, especially in big games.

I don’t get this move by Cora. May is at  only at about 70 pitches I think.

I feel bad for May. After his previous two starts he thought he had it figured out. Baseball is a cruel mistress.

So May makes it to the 5th inning giving up 5 which actually could have been.  For most of that he was pitching batting practice.

Hope is a wonderful thing--or did you miss that movie?

We have three starters we can feel give us a chance to win. Buehler, May and whomever else Cora plugs in the five spot is rolling the dice.  Joe Ryan would have put this team at the next level. No one wants to work with Breslow

Joe Ryan. Are we still talking about him?

He was the target and our GM couldnt get it done.  It will be the difference in this team making a playoff run if one at all

Meh.  I'm not sure I want a CBO whom other CBO's love in July, which is a very tough month for making good deals.  Plus this is just his second year as CBO, so of course he's going to be cautious.

On the other hand, Breslow brought in Crochet, Bregman, Chapman, and Narvaez last winter.  That's the best four in one winter I ever heard of for the Sox.
