Completely agree.  Acquiring Bregman pushed Devers into the DH slot, which I think is ideal for him.  I was wrong to claim Yoshida can't hit because he can--but not as well as Devers.  Chaim Bloom brought in Yoshida and Story, both of whom were/are overpriced.  However, it also looks like he put some pretty good talent in the Sox minor league system.

I would like to see him in the line-up but there's no room if Devers doesnt play first. He's great trade bait for pitching where we will have to eat some of his contract.

Yoshida is a good fit for the type of disciplined hitter they need.  But with Devers at DH, he really doesn’t fit.

His contract makes him a difficult move, but he doesn’t fit have 3 options remaining…
