As we gear up for another season of Red Sox baseball, it's time to look at the community members who made Talk Sox great over the winter.

Hello, Red Sox fans! Twice a year, I sit down and find the most popular posts and blogs on Talk Sox and their creators receive prizes for their contributions to the newly-relaunched Talk Sox. After a wild Red Sox offseason, there was a lot to talk about. We look at the most popular posts and most popular blogs created by our users.

Let's dive into the most popular content of the offseason.

Most Popular Post
It sure was an interesting offseason. At points throughout the winter, it felt like Triston Casas was a goner. In our most popular post of the offseason, @notin replied that the rumored deal for the Mariners' Luis Castillo fell through due to the Red Sox trying to unload the beleaguered Masataka Yoshida contract in the process.

For this popular post, you win this cool box of 1988 Topps baseball cards! Congratulations and private message @Brock Beauchamp with your mailing address!

Most Popular Post Runner-Up
According to our internal metrics, the second-most popular post of the offseason was (unsurprisingly) about the Alex Bregman signing. @5GoldGlovesOF,75 pointed out that no matter how you feel about Bregman himself, seeing the Sox go out and lock down one of the most prized free agents of the offseason is a huge step in the right direction.

Thank you for being such a valued member of the community and private message @Brock Beauchamp for your prize, which is this excellent Fenway Park brick set!

Most Prolific Poster
We like to hat-tip the community member who accrued the most reputation points over the winter. This offseason, that poster was @mvp 78! Sorry, there's no prize for this, just our undying gratitude (or something). But seriously, without posters deciding to call Talk Sox home every day of the year, none of this would exist. And we thank you for your contributions!

Normally, there is another category but due to the newness of the relaunched Talk Sox, no one has utilized the feature yet! So if you have something long-form to say about the Boston Red Sox, write it up in a blog post, which is free and accessible to all Talk Sox members!

I'd like to take a moment to thank all of the existing community members for being such a welcoming presence as we transitioned to new ownership and a new platform. I know it's difficult to see one of your favorite places change but you've all been gracious throughout the process, bumps and all.

Thank you so much and here's to a successful Red Sox season!
