There was a Pirates blog yesterday about the team losing money last year and my accounting brain wanted to yuck their yum because of some of the nonsense in the blog. Better off to not get in the weeds sometimes. Good article here though. Bell loves PV.

I don't know if you listen to Effectively Wild but Meg Rowley (editor of FG) coined the term "Nutting" to describe being cheap and/or awful. It's literally the best derogatory term I've heard for baseball ownership when they "nut" all over a situation.
