Every time you think Casas is ready to break out, he reminds you he is average . OTOH , Kike is flat useless

I'll find you and kick your ass next time you compare my boy to Kike.

I trust that you have ever heard the phrase " compare and contrast" . I contrasted Casas still developing potential as a "100 OPS+" ballplayer to Kike's 0% possibility of ever being my fav Red Sox. There is no comparison.

Clarification accepted. But I've got my eye on you vegasbob. The other is on Bloom. If tries to re-sign Kike, y'all just watch the news....

Congrats to Dugo for enabling the sweep, but get one more please, maybe 2 or 3. Is Kenley on the agenda ?

Jacques up. Why not Martin to save his own game with the off day tomorrow? He only threw 9 pitches in the 8th.

Why do most LH baters have prettier swings than RH batters? Is it related to how the earth spins?

The LH swinger is on a trajectory towards 1B so it's a graceful continuation move. The RH hitter has to stop his entire momentum and reverse direction of his hips/legs/torso

No idea. I’ve always wondered why a lefty can throw that curve/slider that breaks from the left handed batters box across to the right handed batters box but you never see a righty throw it a similar pitch.

That makes perfect sense.

Incredible series sweep and utter dominance of the dead BJ's . Does this mean I need to start the next game thread too ?

So the Sox are 7-0 against toronto this year. Very nice after last year’s debacle. Edited by d-money

You can have tomorrow off for doing such a great job, plus the SOX aren't playing.

Very exciting game. Offense comes through yet again and big time. Too bad about Whitlock, but really good pitching by Pivetta, Martin, and Jacques.

5 hits by Duran!! 3 by Devers and 2 by Refsnyder and the game-winning dinger by Dugo!!!

The bullpen needs tomorrow off, but I sure wish the lineup could keep playing.

Well, I'm going with the Earth spin theory.
