That sucks for multiple reasons. Houck was dealing, the injury looked potentially serious and now the bullpen has to be used early. Hopefully this can be a game where some idiot like Kluber eats up innings and saves pen since they’re up so much

It doesn't matter in a laugher, but Casas was dogging it to first on his groundout-throw error. Scorer gave him a hit. Kind of a mercy gift. Given that bonus, how is Devers the only batter without a hit in a 14 run game ?

 

There was no better game all year to bust out the whooping stick and crush the Yankees
