With EO starting the SOX should be favored, but that the SOX are playing on the west coast may neutralize that. Even with much better teams than this one the SOX have had their problems out west.

Every game from here on out is a "must win" if the Sox want to make the play offs. I just don't see a lot of intensity from most of the players. Too many easy outs without really battling the pitcher.

EO would be the poster boy for intensity. He leaves everything on the field. But I agree that most of the SOX give the impression they're just going thru the motions. Devers may have been over intense in the last week or so.

JD hits a solo HR. Solo HR's are one thing the SOX have done extremely well since late July. I'm guessing runners on base have been distracting the SOX batters.

JD got a break on the pitch that made it 3-2; I think the catcher cost Anderson the strike by yanking it up so far.
