That sucks. If the umped called safe it would of upheld.

How? The catcher clearly made a good tag before he got his hand on home plate.

Unlike most of our backup catchers in recent memory, Plawecki is NOT an afterthought at the plate

yanks down 4-1.

We need them to start playing better this week when they host the Rays. After that, if they could go back to not scoring runs when we come to town, that would be great

I totally respect the Rays, but to me, the Yanks are still the team to beat.

He’s over .810 in his last 140 PAs.

I'm not convinced after the Kluber and Voit injuries. We'll see how long they are out. It's only a small sample size in the time since they've gone down, but they look really lost and depleted without both of them. And I'm not scared of Cole, given how well we've hit good pitching. Plus, if the Tigers can beat him, anybody can stand a chance, especially if the Yankees continue to struggle scoring runs.

I watched all of the Rays game today and I think we could beat them in a playoff series, but they definitely look for real.

To me the Jays and Rays are the teams to beat. NYY are (will be) a hospital just like every year.

Yankems' Stanton in the last 3 years:

2019---18 games played.

2020---23 games played.

2021(so far)--34 games played.

So far, an excellent signing for the Yankems.

They traded for him.

The Yanks will improve at the deadline or before.

I agree about the rays. I think they’re better than the Yankees because of the pitching.
