Well now I am back to where I was a couple hours ago. It is so f***ing hard to sweep.

Still got a shot at it.

Isn't it time for the Halos to boot something?

Yes. Chavis has said that was where he learned it...

Yankees lost lol so there’s that.

I was just going to post that. LOL

Today's loss was a heartbreaker, but at least the Yankees lost as well. And we won the series, which is the goal.

Some tough luck in today's game.

Good news today: we fell behind early and fought hard and had a chance to win!

Bad news today: we need an 8th inning reliever. This ottavino is not the answer. This is the second time, we had to bring Barnes in for more than three outs and this time it backfired on us!

Maybe we should try Whitlock for this. I know we like to use him for multiple innings but we need a guy for the 8th badly..... that or workman.

It always gives me great joy watching the Yanks lose lol. Especially to Baltimore. They made fun of us for losing to them a few days back.

A goal for Chavis has been to learn to layoff the high fast ball out of the zone. It doesn't look like he has accomplished that as yet. It is too bad for him but he will probably be one of the guys sent down when Henandez and Arroyo come back up. With 2 men on we had Chavis chasing out of the zone and Arauz swinging from the heels and chasing. He is really young and needs to learn situational hitting. He too will probably be sent down. Dalbec has learned not to chase, but he goes too far in the other direction, taking fastball strikes right across the plate. He has earned the respect that will keep him on the team. It was a good game today and we lost on a quirky blooper and a HR by an honest to goodness star.

It is hard to sweep any team. I will take winning 2 out of 3 all year long.

And yes, watching the Yankees lose always brings great joy.

Good post Oldtimer. It was very frustrating watching Chavis' at bats today. As you said, it was a good game nonetheless. Except for the final result.
