This is a huge win for the Yanks. Just an absolutely gigantic win. Yet, it was one we absolutely needed to have. You rarely beat Verlander in the playoffs. You rarely beat Cole ever. Having to beat them once is daunting, but having to beat them twice isn't likely to occur. We took the Greinke game. We go into tomorrow with game 2 being gravy. We have already taken home field back. And at home, we don't see Verlander. If we can beat Cole, Astros Pen, and Greinke in the Bronx, we can win the series before going back to Houston to face Verlander and Cole
