I know....I back doored into this thing because as I have always posted....I will only start a game thread if its game time and nobody has started one yet or to adhere to forum protocol. Now they haven't lost since the last time I did the "just in time" thing...So we are on a roll!!!!!

To anyone who lives in NE, do you get NESN as part of your basic cable package or do you pay a separate fee for it? Here in CNY, YES comes with my basic cable. If I was a Yankem fan, that would be great. I pay @ $200.00 for Extra Innings, which motivates me to watch every SOX game.

 

To answer your question (the following day!) and possibly splitting hairs because I don't have cable, I have DirecTV and I have to upgrade my package from "Basic" in order to get NESN. The package that I have is called "Choice". It has 175 channels ("57 channels and nothin' on") and is the least expensive one I can get that contains NESN. It's about $120/month before any discounts for things like bundling, etc.
