Not even on the roster? He was looking pretty damn good to me!

Sent down when Moreland was activated

I'd have sent Travis down, kept Hernandez and gone with Holt and Vaz as 1B depth behind Moreland..

Looks like we will go with 13 pitchers the entire season. I'm not sure the last time the Sox did that.

I’m wondering if they are looking at a platoon type situation at first and left with Travis. Between Moreland, Hernandez, Holt and Beni, they have no right handed options.

The thing is, Holt hits LHPs almost exactly the same as RHPs.

Career:

.718 vs RHP

.697 vs LHP

(They will not platoon Beni.)

I don't think the question is where, the question is why. Why isn't he with the parent team? It's got to be frustrating for him. He came up, played well, was instrumental in some wins, and got sent down. While I know he's not the first player to be on the Merloni Express at the same time he'll be 27 in just over a month.

The bright side for him is that he may be the heir-apparent to 2B for the 2020 team. Sometimes a player is just in the wrong spot and it looks to me like that's where Marco is now.

Makes sense. I couldn't have said it better!
