Chavis is hitting .260 is a surprise with how many whifs he had the last 6 weeks.

A 50% strikeout artist. he started the 6 weeks somewhere near .290+. Now on his way to the .250's. if this guy is your answer, try a new question.

Considering the Sox got all the way to won a WS, hard to question moving Moncada for Sale knowing they had Devers and X. It is soooooo hard to win one of these things. If you get one, its hard to question the moves that got you there.

Then again, the year after we get to complain like hell.

And exactly WTF did Sale have to do with winning the playoffs and WS ? A very nice and rewarding K on Manny Machado was much appreciated but Sale was not a key to the World Series win.

Struggling to beat Toronto, Chicago at homes. This team has no answers.

Well right now there’s only one great team in the AL unless you wanna include the Astros in the picture. They’re more than capable.

Chicago is not in the same s*** pile as KC, Baltimore, and Toronto. They're a respectable team, who will only get better.

tell you what, they just mentioned something I have been wondering about, and that is all the off days upcoming, with this stupid ass London trip coming so close to the all star break,I am having a hard time finding any good in the next 2 weeks given their consistency this year.I guess the only good thing I can come up with is the yankees face the same issues with the days off. Who knows maybe it cools them off

very good article on The Athletic (subscription ) about an aerodynamic study on the ball itself. More rebound , more smooth skin, lower seams, will fly 20' further on average hit this year. The average HR total by field position will be 20+ HR's this year for all positions. Jung has been correct all year based on the study about the rocketball.

Most obvious in the plethora of one handed home runs with all the weight already through and on the hitters front foot and the ball ends up in one of the Fenway bullpens. X hit one like that .....just ridiculous. I don't care how strong he is. When all your weight is already forward....all that power is spent before you hit the baseball.

I miss the giant glass advertisement behind home plate. When a RH batter was up at a certain camera angle the batter would block 2 letters and it would say “giant ass”

I would add that it also cost Kopech to boot...

You don't miss a thing, Slasher. SOX should hire you as a scout.

This team plays down to their opponent. It’s embarrassing .

This team plays up to every opponent because they are lower on the ladder than almost every team. These guys are still sleepwalking. Just hard to watch them.

It made painful games like this one a bit more.....entertaining. Pretty sure the Sox camera guy was in on it...,

Is Xander drunk!?

On the wet infield (grass and dirt), the ball did not bounce in its typical way, leaving X to be grasping at air.
