He was his usual cynical and smiling self. Par for the course. He also added that "We will be there in the end."

We'll see Alex.

When Cora SAYS "we will be there in the end," which golf course is he referring to?

It is kind of odd that some fans don't believe in a player being hot or cold . They don't believe in clutch . They say there is no such thing as momentum . They throw out all of the traditional stats and ideas about the game . But they swear by " mojo " . Mojo and sabermetrics . Go figure .

The world of sports is a strange one, I don't even pretend to understand it. I definitely believe in slumps, momentum, clutch etc.... I also believe in mojo.... However the person NOT starting a game day thread after a loss makes zero sense this year as we suck...... Reverse MOJO might work.

If we lose I will never create a Game Thread again. That is my promise to MVP, but if we win I keep going with this.

Parenthood has been fantastic Kimmi. He is a hand full but he sleeps awesome at night! Sleeps 8 out of 10 hours. However doesn't nap much during the day so my spouse is having a tough time hahaha. He likes to be carried a lot so her days are pretty much full with giving him attention. He is not a napper that's for sure lol.

I would much rather have my baby sleep through the night and nap less than the other way around.

When I was pregnant with my first child many years ago, and I commented that I was tired, my sister-in-law told me to get used to it, that I would be tired for the next 18 years at least. Truer words were never spoken. LOL

I'm glad you're enjoying parenthood. There's nothing greater than that joy. :)

Angel is the crew chief again... nice job on that non call last night man. NOT! Looked to be a swing from where I was sitting.. AND FROM THE REPLAY!

Worst umpire ever - Angel Hernandez or Joe West?

We just saw one huge difference between Texas and the Sox. The Texas batter had a 2-0 count after the previous two batters walked and did not hesitate to go after that fast ball. All of the good Sox hitters would have take that pitch. Nunez would have swung and hit into a double play.

Like I said earlier, I have no idea where we would be without X this year.

Agreed. He’s been one of the few bright spots.

Shocked by the way to hear one of the Mighty NESN's (Jerry of course) acknowledge that not only is the 2019 a juiced baseball but that it is the rocket ship of rocket ships...hotter than the 2016-2018 baseballs. First time I have heard one of them categorically call it like it is on that subject.

That is a hitter not looking for a walk and an RBI by that route. Tremendous respect for that sort of hitting myself.

Angel is such an awful Home Plate ump. Goes from squeezing a pitcher to giving him three inches off the plate because the pitching coach rags on him a bit. I will take it. But the guy is just terrible.

Did you see the pitch he missed vs the Yanks? He’s amazingly bad
