1. Mookie Betts ® CF

2. Andrew Benintendi (L) LF

3. J.D. Martinez ® RF

4. Xander Bogaerts ® SS

5. Rafael Devers (L) 3B

6. Christian Vazquez ® C

7. Michael Chavis ® 2B

8. Eduardo Nunez ® DH

9. Sam Travis ® 1B

Let's stop playing like morons for starters. If they went 5-14 RISP last night instead of 2-14, Cora would look like a genius again after putting Betts at lead off and his big walk against Chappy. A 2-14 is pathetic considering that was Leon alone.

That's an interesting lineup. The fact that JDM is in RF tells me that his back is not the problem. His current ability to recognize and hit a pitch effectively is a problem. Nunez DH'ing in a game that could be called essential is a stretch, but I guess it was Eduardo or JBJr who will get a rest vs. CC. Maybe have Leon catch again and DH Vazquez ?? Sandy did actually have a couple of the limited hits last night.

Ok, I'll summarize. This is a BS lineup for an important game. The Sox will consequently win, proving "that's baseball".

I believe I'll watch this game without the mute. I feel like enjoying some total pain tonight. SOX losing and listening to A-roid at the same time; it doesn't get any more painful than that.

Go Bruins!

At least its not Fenway RF. He might have made more progress on the back. Lets see if he looks more comfortable at the plate. How much trouble can JD get into in Yankee Stadium RF. If its over your head its in the stands.

If Sanchez doesn't hit a HR tonight off Price, we will be fine. He Owns Price. I might walk him in any situation. Yep even with the bases loaded. Edited by OH FOY!

JD Martinez looked healthy there

Gotta' see how he looks on swings and misses. Then again, maybe he won't swing and miss tonight.

Very encouraging shot by JDM. I'm sure if he was just camo'ing a bad back, AC would not put him in the field. So in the alternative, time for JD to get hot with the bat. Maybe the guys in front will get on base.

Anyone here remember the last time the SOX hit a dinger with men on base?

Williams had 2 three run HR's in a single game in 1956

If most of you think JD is injured, then Beni must be in the throws of death.

He's a fan favorite SS.

Beni is in the throes of losing a career before he ever had one.

I’d like to see some bunts. Anything to make CC move around. He’s been vocal about how much he hates bunts and moving off mound. He looks fat and slow as s*** out there.
