Sale doing the Porcello dance with an elevated pitch count , as usual because of all his brilliant K's, probably going 6 innings , now eligible for a 1-6 record.

Unless this offense does something Sale will definitely be 1-6. The bats have looked dead this series. Not sure what’s changed. At home with that hot streak we were on. It’s ridiculous we have played like this through the series. Verge of being swept.

If I was JBJ, I’d literally just nonstop work on bunting. He’s hitting under .150 and they’re giving him free hits if he can bunt the ball anywhere on left side of the field. I love JBJ, but come on man, this is embarrassingly bad

Vasquez hitting 5th doesn't help.

Nice response by the Sox to being down 3-1. Rollovers and once again cannot hit a roly-poly LH slop server. But the games not over, and neither is the season. Sort of wish it would hurry up though

The guys we are supposed to be depending on have just choked up a dog of series to this point. 1-6 in the order has sucked. Now Vaz up to 5 only points out how ugly it has been.

Mentioned it earlier. But I think Sale has burdened himself in this start in a way that is effecting him. Left a slider right in the middle that was not hit and then left 94 right in the middle to Correa. That one was hit.

This team will be even 500 after today if they don’t make a comeback. 23-23. That’s just not good. Reaching almost 50 games now.

This is not the team your year younger self watched.

DD ought to buy the entire organization and team tickets to the Bruins Stanley Cup opener so they all can see what it means to work hard to win.

See that's how Lefties hit.

Vague recollection that that LH'er used to play for the Sox. Only matured as a hitter about 5 years later, but we have the best defender.

What irks me is that it’s at home and not on the road. They play them on the road next weekend. Could get ugly.

That’s what it is?? They just aren’t working hard enough? Why don’t they work harder?

Cora believed that he had the golden touch. He had a cockamamie idea about not getting his starters ready for the season, and his coaching staff has taken a laissez-fair approach and it shows on the field.

They are complacent MF'ers

When the Astros won the World Series i am trying to recall if they did that the following year. Did they?
