This is why I avoid the game threads.

It’s hard for fans to watch a 240 million team that starters are currently sucking bigly

They’re on a West coast trip to start the season. The Sox historically usually struggle on west coast, it’s game 3 of 162. Call me crazy but it may be a little early to panic

Pretty much the same score as yesterday's game. Only difference is Mitch won't be able to PH.

The Seattle bullpen remains vulnerable.

Wanna see better starting pitching. Has to start soon.

Not crazy at all. It is way too early to panic. Most of us will know when it's the right time to panic.

So me having diarrhea currently is a tad dramatic?

However it could be from the McDonald’s I had rather than the Sox play. Or a combination of the two.

I mean we can look at the bright side, there is no way Sale, Erod and eovaldi ill be this bad all season

Can't argue with that. The question that bothers me is how well will Sale adjust if he can no longer throw 95+.

I know it's early, but like I posted yesterday I don't understand not keeping Betts leading off and Beni batting 2nd. I guess Cora didn't feel the team won enough games last year.

I honestly do not like Beni to Mookie v Mookie to Beni. I simply do not think Beni is disciplined enough as a hitter to lead off. He may be someday. But he isn't now. Beni gets that front leg too far out in front, gets into too deep a stretch front to back, gets his hands outside the baseball and turns into popup city even when he makes contact.

The MVP is not a large physical frame kind of guy and I suspect Cora is trying to spare him some use over the long season. He has got to cover acres in Fenway RF and the leadoff hitter must get at least 80 more PA's than the guy batting from the 2 hole.

Why does Thornburg always look like the most detached disinterested ML pitcher on the mound I have seen in a long long time.

Good point. But who would you rather have with those 80 more PA's? Beni or Betts?
