8IP, no walks, 3 hits and 6 strikeouts against one of the best teams in the league. Price earned his money tonight, that's for sure.

Since coming back from his Carpel Tunnel time off. He has been awesome. 2 bad starts but outside of that he has been a total gem and getting better every week! If he keeps playing like this it will be tough to determine who’s the Ace. Him or Sale. Regardless this rotation looks beautiful with Price playing this good!

This Cleveland series was meaningful precisely because it was Cleveland who were 13--4 in August going into this series. In the first two games, we saw why. In the second two games, they saw why the Sox have the best record in MLB and will be a force in the postseason. Game 3 of that series should have been a big mismatch with Johnson going against Carrasco, but the lineup broke out in the 4th and never looked back. The Sox won 10-4 even though Johnson only went 4.1 innings (giving up 3 runs). Our much-maligned bullpen gave up 1 run in 4.2 innings.
