Johnson knows better than throwing a 80 fastball down the middle to Iglesias. Meanwhile the other ******* from Detroit doesn't come close to throwing strikes and the team is helping him.

So good to see JBJr rolling over on the outside pitch again. For awhile I thought he had lost his stroke

Whoa! Are we watching Mookie revertto the 2017 Mookie? Taking down the middle strike 1 and down the mddle strike2? Mookiw, wake up!

My take on Mookie is that he's only human. There will be games throughout this marathon season where he will go 0 for whatever.

Yesterday I posted that it was safe to say that this SOX team is very injury prone. Today, with the SOX playing their 100th game, I think it's safe to say that no team in baseball history has had a winning percentage of almost .700 after a 100 games with as many holes to fill as the SOX.

Johnson is doing what Johnson can do. Put the ball out there and hope someone can catch it. But maybe with 2 outs he could pitch a little tougher

The hell with it, I'm gonna do the nice post about X-man. So far this season Betts and JD have been the two names mentioned as MVP for the SOX as everyday players and rightly so. I believe that X-man, based on clutch hits this year, his marked defensive improvement at SS, and his overall numbers all around is right up there with Betts and JD for team MVP. Again, I'm only referring to everyday players. If I was including pitchers, then Sale and Kimbrel would also be at the top of the list. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

You really don't want to waste that game picked up on NYY last night in a 1-0 bad game, especially with a Yankee win today. Time for these guys to wake up the bats.

Devers' act is getting very very old.

Maybe he needed a couple rehab games instead of going to the DR baseball Academy hanging out with homies. I agree , he makes it hard to root for him.

I like what you said.

You will find that there is not much love for his D on this board.

I think he's pretty good for the 25 best SS in MLB.:P
