That's all folks ...terrible managing terrible coaching and aweful hitting.

For two innings you called for Kimbrel.

Cora finally did what you wanted, and now it's "terrible coaching".

These birds from north of the border are good. Good day to be a Yankee fan! Down to 4 games

Lol keep dreaming we get X back Friday ...think about playing holt at SS ....we get our leading hitter back who hit one out tonight .

Maybe it was the out at home. Maybe it was the defensive lapses.

keep dreaming? Your team peaked in April and now are hitting a rough patch. You're not running away with anything. This is gonna be a dog fight

We fought hard and sctratched our way to tie it up.

It's a 162 game season for a reason.

I still love this team and their chances.

Of course. It was the right call, but since he was out, Cora sucks.

....Nuney just touched third and the guy had the ball ...it was a horrific call that cost us this game .Mookie was up next .

2 outs in the 9th. You send him every time

Completely disagree. There is a difference between being aggressive and stupid. Nunez was out by a mile. Look where he was when Granderson picked up the ball, it would've taken a horrendous throw for Nunez to be safe. Osuna was struggling and Mookie is on deck. It was bad send, which has been a disturbing trend last few years.

Thanks. I feel much better now---about the loss. I understood one out. Just another poor hitting night and another wasted starting performance.

And if Mookie hits to his average there is a 70% chance he fails. Granderson has a noodle arm and isn't always accurate. He one bounces it perfect to the plate.

Cora didn't send him, the 3d base coach did. I agree the normal call would be send him, but the 3B coach could see the play and how slow Nunez was getting around 3B. In the event, Nunez was out by a big margin. It did not take a perfect throw especially with a slow runner like Nunez.

Now I feel bad about the loss again, because I agree with this argument, if accurately described.

Even if he made a mediocre throw, Nunez is still out. It would be one thing if it was a bang-bang play where Granderson made an amazing throw, but that was just stupid. Nunez literally didn't even have a chance. a 30% chance of Betts getting a hit, is better than the 0% chance Nunez had of scoring on that play.

Cora is blame free in this game IMO, I don't get why he's even being mentioned. The offense struggled (Mookie/JD/Beni combined 0-13, 9 K's), the infield defense was horrible (Devers made some big mistakes and Nunez is just bad), and the 3B coach sending Nunez was monumentally stupid. Cora cant make the guys hit, play defense, and he didn't tell the 3B coach to make that (bad) judgement call.

Mookie doesn't have to hit to his average to bring the runner home. A WP or a BB does it. With the bases loaded and the game tied, the pressure is much more on the pitcher than the batter.

Granderson was playing in as he should have been. All he had to do was field the ball cleanly. After that it was a short throw not requiring a strong arm.

Better chance Granderson got hit by a lightning bolt mid throw than Nunez making it home. That was just dumb to send him. Thirdbase coach got excited.

Cherry picker huh ? Lots of screw ups tonight but you know this maaaaaaaan .You also know the time to put Craig in was with 2 outs ...but hey Kelly promptly gives up a rocket double and the next batter damn near goes yard ...miss hit Moon this was a s*** show at the end .

Can we talk about Porcello? 7IP 3 hits, all snuck by our half-assed infielders. 7 groundouts to 1 fly out. 9 strikeouts. He is easily our best starter at the moment.

I agree Cora is blameless. The fault lay with the lineup despite the semi-miraculous 2 runs to tie in the 9th. And our invincible closer gave up the game-winning dinger in the 10th.

The players lost this game. Plus I don't like the 3B coach.
