I don't know, but sure looks like a lot of risky baserunning out there tonight. Bogaerts could have been nailed at 3b and Devers at home.

Hopefully, some day our guys we learn to play it careful.

I feel like no matter how good you are, if you face the same team so many times, eventually, they're gonna get you.

That's the way I always felt it was about Mario Rivera. The Sox saw him so many times that eventually they got used to seeing him and knew what he had.

I thought Devers was going to be meat when he rounded third - and he would have been if the throw had been accurate. He scored on the bad throw.

JBJ gets a lot of key hits, in big situations.

I'd like to see him get more hits period. He is at .255/.754 with a WAR of only 2.5 for the year. He has the talent to do better.

It is amazing how he can go on one of his tears and carry an OPS of 1.20 for a short time, and then go ice cold.

Yankees have 4 runs on 6 hits, including the 3 run dinger. The Sox have 3 hits--three bare singles--and 2 runs and are still in this game. That, ladies and gents, comes from aggressive baserunning and not being overly cautious because you might be thrown out.

It's freaky... If he could stretch that hot streak out for two months instead of one, he'd be all star caliber....

At least the glove doesn't go with it.

That hurts. I expect Girardi will be going to Robertson and Betances tonight. They've been the money relievers for the Yanks lately.

Damn it sale!! Come on

It was a slider at the bottom of the zone or below it. That was just an incredible hit, let alone dinger.

Leadoff double, and our 3, 4, and 5 hitters, no surprise, can't even advance him, let alone bring him home.

That f***ing bothers me to no end!!! 1 run is good enough and they can't do the small things!

Imagine that was the same with every other job. Actors would be great one movie, then couldn't act well the next few months. Or news anchors, or sushi chefs....

It's just so odd to be doing something so well, then just to lose the ability.
