Yes, my bad. I misread the "no" out of your post. We are in agreement.

You two will just have to agree to agree and leave it at that.

One thing that worries me is taxing this bullpen by the end of the season. We need our pitchers to consistently give us 7 innings

Lol.......I'm telling you the sky is blue........ No it's not.....it's blue........ how can you not think it's blue when it is obviously blue.....

it's mid week and late..... we are forgiven for being brain dead....

You make my eyes cross........... two stinking rain delays........... what do you want???

Tell you what. I don't want to jinx it, but Berrios was the best SP we had to face ( we missed Santana, who's having a phenomenal season). I'll just say I'm pretty confident we'll win this four game set, not just split. The worst (or best i guess) we had to face was game one.

Young is a serious weapon on our team.....

He seems to start off slow and heat-up as the season goes on. I don't like to get on him due to the fact that he doesn't get close to as many AB's as everyone else.

Not much relavant to your post. But what I thought was interesting is recently in June, Cleveland swept a 4 game series from Minnesota, then a week later got swept in a 3 game series...... baseball is strange...

.... and the Yankees lose with a walk off in Chicago. This will put us at the top of the ALE and with the second best record in the AL despite our "issues" hahaha

Go Sox!

We should be winning this division by like 5 games right now.

Pomeranz is pitching very well lately, and if Eduardo comes back pitching as he used to this season... this team seems pretty solid considering that the BP has been very good as well. If DD rounds the team with a decent 3B, this team will have everything to be a WS contender.

I try to only focus on one series at a time. Beating their best SP we'll see from them this series and not facing their #1 is a nice break. I mean, we faced O's #1 in Bundy like 6 times the first 2 months lol

I agree, a decent 3B and we stay relatively healthy, I'd like our chances.

I'll watch the games when I get back from Mexico, but it's nice to see so many crooked numbers on the scoreboard!

I watch the condensed games if I miss one. You dvr them Moon?

He's been a top 10 hitter vs LHPs over the last 2-3 years. This year, he's hitting righties better.

Go figure!

Yes, and fast forward through commercials. I do that even when I'm at home. I usually try to time it so I'm at real time for the 8th or 9th inning.

Yea.... strange......

Stat me how many at bats he's had vs righties and lefties...... please.......

I know the beginning of the season we were putting him in against mostly righties just to give him work...... which happened last year too

wow....... like Eck just mentioned....... the crowd is howling........... interesting to hear with hardly anyone in the stands....

Before tonight's game:

Young

vs RHP: .760

vs LHP: .636

Even more bizarre....

JBJ

vs RHP: .748

vs LHP: 1.196

It's almost enough to get me to give up on my fixation with splits and suggested platoons.

Easy guys, I said "almost"!

i arrived in Coyocan, Mexico (just south of Mexico City) Friday. I'm leaving early in the morning on Thursday (to Monterrey).

Be back in Sugar Land, TX by Friday evening, unless we get mugged or worse.

I lived in Mexico City for 4.5 years (during Bush II's second term).
