7:10 pm EDT Game Time

It is a FOX game so we will have to suffer through National broadcasters.

How does this happen? How can a team that played as well against the Sox as Baltimore hit the skids and can't win a game? And the same with the Yankees.

I just refuse to believe that the Sox played so badly that they made these two teams look like world beaters.

Such is baseball. In 2009 I think we beat the Yankees the first 9 times we played them and they beat us the next 9.

It's all due to the random nature of the game.

I don't believe it's 100% randomness, but there's certainly a lot of it in the game.

Or one team was hot and the other cold, and the next time, it was different. Those hot streaks are not repeatable skills. Therefore, they don't exist.

So Holt to the 60 day DL, Rutledge out with a concussion and Pablow out with his clogged cranium.

Some 23 year old kid named Lin is up from Portland.

Yeeeeeehaw!!1!!

Technically he is down from Portland. But you know what I meant.

LOL. Your memory is better than mine!
I remember asking you about him because I wasn't familiar with him and I was wondering if he was another Asian player with a similar name from a few years back. I sought of remember him doing something positive at bat, but had to look it up to confirm that he got a hit. Edited by a700hitter

He has no secondary pitches that he throws for strikes. Live and die with the fastball.

He has to add some type of pitch.

Just cant make that many defensive miscues in an inning an not expect it to bite you in the ass

Price appears to have little command of his changeup, knuckle curve, and I think slider. that's why he throws all those fastballs.

At the same time, Bogaerts makes two errors in one inning to ensure an unearned run.

And, as stated above, the hitters ain't hitting. Was it the 2d inning when Moreland led off with a dinger followed by Beni's double? Then HanRam strikes out looking, JBJ is HBP, and Vazquez and Marrero ground out weakly.

A terrible game so far.
