So now we're the super clutch team that always wins close games? I'll take it! I think we somehow got past the "worrying about making the playoffs" phase and are now mostly worried about whether or not we win the division. Last time I checked our division odds (like a couple weeks ago) we only had a 40% chance to win the division due to the close 3-way race. As of right before today however, our odds of winning the division according to MLB.com had shot up to 81%. Should be a little higher now! Our odds of making the playoffs is at 99% (98.9 to be exact).

I think the addition of Kelly, Koji, expanded roster, and the others settling down helped. A few weeks ago you could have thrown anyone out there and they were horrible.

 

Someone please queue that statement about the bullpen making or breaking a manager................. if anything....... Farrell weathered the storm when the bullpen was crap.......

 

I'm warming to Farrell........... if he wins the ALE this year, or even comes close and he's already there.......... you have to consider he is better than ok........... also add that championship a few years ago.......

 

I think the best assessment is that he is ok.............. I can give him that and even with every game we gain a lead I give him a bit more......
