Finally checked to see if the Sox were in town.............. been hoping very much they are............

 

So Aug 23rd they are home against KC........ E-Rod to pitch...............

 

Can I barter a lower price because they suck so bad.....?????????????

Wait until the day before then go on StubHub. The sellers will lower the prices out of desperation. I once got seats near home plate for around $95 a piece.

Wow. That absolute rocket mookie slammed at prado was an error but the little ground ball jackie hit that hit off the first basemans mitt was ruled a hit?

Why isn't Kelly in with the mix of all the bullpen relievers that we trotted out tonight is what I should have said...

 

I actually think it would be a good idea to try Kelly in the closer's role. I think he's needed in the rotation right now with Buchholz and Porcello both on the DL, but I think Kelly will likely end up in the pen next season. Why not see what he can do as a closer or at least in late, high pressure situations? He's as good an option as anyone else, and he might even find his niche there.

Trading 2 months of Miller for 6 years of cost-controlled Rodriguez was a no brainer. That's a trade you have to make every time. As far as re-signing Miller in the offseason, I would have loved to have him back, but as I said about Papelbon, not at that price.
