Ooooh, it's really exciting to watch our young players! No, it isn't! The team is a suckass last place team that plays like crap. It's ******** that you expect from a Kansas City team. Our kids have stunk to this point except for Vasquez. Holt has done great, but he was not one of our hot prospects. He was a throwin in a trade and we got lucky that he has had a break out season. I can hardly wait until next season when our All Star pitcher is gone and I have to hear ******** about young pitchers having growing pains.

Sometimes Ted it's hard for Red Sox fans to hunker down and admit that their team is a pig. You, I and some others can---others can't. There is, however, one very accurate and salient point. This 2014 team is DEAD MAN WALKING. We are finished, caput, done, no mas, nein, nyet. These last two games have proven that to me at least. As far as our young players are concerned we had better hope it is just growing pains because Bogaerts has looked like s*** warmed over most of the season. Bradley is a strikeout machine with little power, and though he has had a good July, his 221 average is nothing to get excited about. He will never be a 300 hitter, will never steal 30 bases, hit 15 homers or be a run producer and if Bogey doesn't emerge in that regard he will become another Lars Anderson or Josh Reddick. I think we're all in the dumps and some of us react a little more angrily than others. It hurts.

Lyons is refreshing and honest, sort of like Eck, but he goes further, totally trashing Buccholz. He gave Doubront an earful the other day.

Lyons was let go after last season by the f***ing Dodgers for exactly that reason. Seems the corporate bastards of the West Coast and their zillions couldn't countenance a loose cannon on their broadcast team. To me he is a refreshing change of pace for us, and like Eck, he lets it all hang out. And I think our team needs some people to ran a boot up their collective asses.

6 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 1K. That's his line for tonight.

I think they need to finally come to terms with the fact that he won't be the same Clay he was before. It's time to deal him and Peavy if possible.

Another underwhelming performance by our boys!!

There is plenty of blame to go around. However I want to mention one thing that keeps bothering me.

Every time there is a grounder to third I cringe because Bogaert's throws are an adventure. Tonight he rushed a throw and it was in the dirt where Nap could not handle it. Reyes was about two to three strides from first. He was safe when he should have been out.

Bogaert's D is roughly the same as WMB. I hope that he can improve on this soon. It's fundamental baseball!!
