Last night's win was good, tonight's win was better-----now can Peavy finally start earning his damn money and go out there and pitch us a winning game tomorrow. Face it, he hasn't been very sharp the last half-dozen times out and I don't want to run the risk of splitting this series. Get that third win tomorrow against the Guardians as they did to us in Cleveland over a week ago. It does look like the offense might be coming out of its deep freeze and wouldn't that be nice.

It was certainly refreshing to see the offensive outburst last night. Only Ortiz did not have a hit ( 3 BB though ).

 

This is what we all expected of the Sox this year, I think.

 

I certainly do not think that the Sox have turned the corner. Not yet anyway. It will be interesting to see what happens when Victorino returns. I have no hopes of him being a huge contributor but who knows?

 

Will Holt return to earth and become a .250 hitter? Where does he fit in long term?
