Yeah, you can't move Ortiz to DH like that.

 

Once you move your DH to a position, you lose the DH for the game and the pitchers hit.

Pinchrunning Carp was a mistake. Ortiz played at first base the last couple days, better to have his bat in the lineup and Carp available to pinch hit.
