But in looking for it they are making themselves vulnerable to his FB which is really nothing to write home about tonight. If they would sit FB instead they would be ripping the cover off the ball on those instead of sitting for breaking balls and getting beaten by the FB. Pitch count is still up there though.

Probably none, given the fact that Sanchez was pedestrian (and missed nearly a full season with elbow injuries) considering he pitched in the NL East and was outperformed by Beckett in most of the years he was under Marlins control anyways. Hanley ended up imploding in Miami. What makes you think he could've handled the Boston spotlight?

 

This is all hindsight anyways.

178.2 IP of 3.38 (118 ERA+) ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 29 starts even though he had some serious blister issues. Sounds like a good year to me.
