I stopped reading at the headline. I just don't see him as a manager at all. I'm more inclined to picture him as a color man for TV or something else in broadcasting.

Yeah, I also always assumed he would end up in the booth somewhere after he retired, I don't really see him as an on-the-field type either. I could even see him in an executive position, but not really as a manager or coach.

This is just a desperate news story released becuase of the small, but increasing chance of Girardi going to the Cubs. The press is already trying to find possible candidates for a job that might not even open up.
