Haven't heard it. "Doo-op" Joel is good too IMO, For the Longest Time and Uptown Girl are fun songs. Miami 2017 rocks purely because its about NY getting torn apart and the Yankees being sold for free.

I don't like Uptown Girl all that much. For the Longest Time is great though.

Wow lol. Grogan was a tough SOB, guy played through a lot of injuries.

And you weren't even alive to witness his mediocre quaterbacking. He was so great that he needed to be replaced by Tony Eason for the team to actually make the playoffs.

I'm not saying its impossible, just difficult. And with that song, people just hear the chorus. Reagan trying to use it on campaign probably didn't help. Bruce actually took to performing acoustically for a while so people might actually get the point.

The thing is that there's always going to be ambiguity with music. To me the lyrics are obviously dark, but it could also be a song about perseverance to someone else. You can't really say they're wrong, either. Look where Bruce Springsteen is now.

I'm not saying he was great, just tough. I try to know the history of my teams, lest I just be some uninformed pink hat.

I understand that. I have my own examples. Jeff Buckley's version of hallelujah is a favorite of mine and its a bit of a tearjerker despite the lyrics sounding remarkably like a description of banging.

No, worse than the Bulls. Do the Bulls have a very bangwagon oriented fanbase? The Bulls were beloved everywhere when Jordan played. I think people have always kind of hated the Pats.

Bangwagon fans are the worst, they should just get a room.

You somehow just ruined a song for me that I've never even heard.

Nobody likes a suck-up.

Damn, that's rough. It's like a student offering their teacher an apple and the teacher slapping it out of the student's hand.

Tones in music do that. Slow a song down, and play the song in minor and suddenly it sounds depressing.

Wait, he ruined it by making it seem like a description of sex?

Yeah, it diverts from the true meaning of it.

If I wanted songs about sex I'd go listen to Britney Spears or whoever the kids are listening to nowadays.

I was just messing with him. Besides, he's right. Radio is the best way to catch the game outside of actually being there.

I hear "For The Longest Time" by Billy Joel every time I work, I can't stand it anymore. Also, for some reason Thunder reminds me of Suns.

That's just uncalled for.

Whoa, hey, there's no need to be that insulting. Thunder is far and away a better poster than suns ever was.

You know who doesn't get enough appreciation? Warren Zevon. He's got an awesome catalogue of songs.

Warren Zevon is great. He gets a lot of appreciation from people who listen to a lot of music.

He's probably one of the most respected artists of the 70s.

Fenway a couple of times

TD Garden multiple times

Portland Sea Dogs

Minor league hockey

Stadium food is a plus, I love that s***, but most of the time your seats suck and you don't know what to do with yourself during breaks since you can't change channels or anything.

Yeah, going to the games is definitely the best way to experience baseball.

I can't think of a better way to spend the afternoon than watching the Twins get their asses kicked at Target Field.

Not even being sarcastic.

It's four years later and I still haven't gotten used to the Twins not being in the Metrodome. I turn on a game where somebody's in Minnesota and see Target Field and I'm like WTF. And then I remember.
