What ....was Ortiz totally unable to go tonight? Hindsight is 20 20 but I would have preferred to see the Sox salt away game 2 and then rest guys like Ortiz for game 3 of this series. And Villareal....what..just hand them the game.

Sox are gonna play themselves right out of the postseason at this rate. I don't know what the f*** happened over all star break but this team is giving me 2012 vibes right now. The Rays and yankmees are playing like they want it now.

Farell is a moron. We will be out of first by tomorrow. This ******* better be back in triple A tomorrow. Play in game here we come

Who the f*** brings in a pitcher with an ERA of 20, in his first appearance of the team, in the 9th innings of a tie game?

This is the s*** I expect from Terry Francona. ridiculous

Hector sanchez is a righty. Koji uehara is a righty. Koji rarely walks anyone and has a great k9 ratio. It was only one out. Plus i would say he was pretty rested.

Farrell does this all too often to me....saves guys for the next game and hopes to get by winning tonights game. Win tonight's game and then rest guys when you already have the series in hand. Farrell does this constantly and I just have no idea why he has to be so ass backwards about s*** like this. He does it within games and he does it game to game.

Already have 2 more losses than the Rays. f***!

And many more to come especially after we get sweept in LA

Was Koji even warming up?

I don't think so...Farrell was going to live or die with....Villareal. Since when...holy s***. He is going to f***ing outthink himself right out of the post season...never mind the division.

Now we can argue again about why games in hand when tied or behind in the lose column is a better place to be than no games in hand and tied or behind in the lose column. Sox are no longer even masters of their own destiny any longer.

I cant believe Im gonna say this...but go Yanks! Seriously, we have to hope the Orioles beat the Rays tomorrow and hope the Yankees take 2 out of 3 from the Rays this weekend...

This is legit one of the dumbest managerial moves I've seen on this team

Probably didn't want to play extras with a day game tomorrow lol. Couldn't we just forfeit in stead of putting in Villarreal

The Sox are tied in the loss column with the A's for the two WC spots. The Orioles are the next closest team at 5.5 games behind...
Posted
This totally sucks. The WC races are so tight that if the Sox truly tumble out of the division lead they could be right on the brink of being out completely very quickly.
Posted
They are starting too even out with all those walk offs they had.we have lost some tough games since that kansas city series

Just noticed that...the O's have been pushed far enough down the last few days that they are well off the pace now. I just don't like the way we are losing games. If you take all the games we blew screwing around with Bailey and the games we have blown the past couple weeks, we would still be leading the division. Farrells in game decision making has sucked all year frankly.

Farrell said he was choosing Villarreal over Workman. Uehara wasn't a consideration for him there.

It would've been nice if Farrell didn't wasted Workman the previous 2 night.

This team is not in a good place right now. Not at all sure what the hell Farrell is doing but he is not to me managing like every game is important and witness Dempster the other night, they are not playing like every game is important.

As the Nationals are finding out, once you get into position to win, it does not matter if you did not expect to be there. You need to play LIKE YOU ARE THERE. Farrell was a rookie manager not too long ago and he looks more like a rookie manager every day.

Farrell said Uehara was being held back for a save situation. Workman had pitched on back-to-back days. So Villarreal it was.

Seriously, f*** you Farrell.

And this is exactly the s*** I was talking about in the earlier post. Ya' gotta' get out from under the other team before you can save the game you f***ing idiot. I am getting sick and tired of seeing that sad sack look on Farrell's face after each of these tough losses as well...you know...that "well I tried every thing I could try" look....yes you did try Farrell in your usual ass backwards manner.
