I didn't see the pitch. If it's the DIP or PIP joint, he could play through it. If it's the MCP, he's out 4-6 weeks

Depends on the knuckle. I played through a fractured left 5th finger PIP joint in the CWS and dominated. You buddy tape it and you cannot even feel it. If it's the MCP joint, though, the integrity of the hand is in play and you have to rest it
