Shoot you might be right cause of that flip flop. When the heck did Webster pitch that game? I am gonna' have to check...you might be right about that.

 

I honestly think they should just go with buch tommorow. I mean, its the same amount of rest. I guess they just dont want to discourage him so much by skipping two of his starts in a row.

Didnt get to see the game but very convincing win. Just what the doctor ordered in this terrible slump. Hopefully the team can build off this and gain some confidence. Looks like for the most part everything was clicking. Pitching and offense. Tampa was pretty hot coming into tonight's game, very solid win for us.

 

Not much for sports on now I guess Memphis and Oklahoma....

My favorite stat that I heard today (from Pete Abe on the Extra Bases blog on Boston.com) - This year, Jon Lester is 4-0 with a 1.94 ERA when pitching after a Red Sox loss.

Especially when your spot in the rotation is typically right after a Doubront/Webster start. The rotation spots got moved around a bit but that's probably where you'd normally want to have it, Lester as the #1 and Doubront/Webster/trade acquisition at the #5.
