If it were not Cabrera in left that would have been a terrible play by Pedey. But considering Cabrera is a rusty old cart in LF I could see Pedey trying that. That ball just came right back to Cabrera unfortunately and he made a good throw.

Farrell should consider moving Ells to to bottom third of the order until he starts getting on base. The guy is killing the top of the order.

Melky always seems to be a thorn in our side.

I still can't see the Sox being shutout by Buerhle, especially with how poor the Jays defense is, the fact that Buerhle is topping at mid 80's and the Sox are getting baserunners. It's only a matter of time before one gets put over the Green Monster.

Never as good as you look winning nor as bad as you look going the other way. This may look like a terrible start for Buch but it should not be entirely unexpected. It is not like he is just blowing up out there on the mound....not yet anyway.

This is what I was thinking last night.

Getting shut down by Ramon Ortiz and Mark Buehrle on back to back nights may send me over the edge. That's freaking embarrassing.

Victorino should have gunned Lind down at home -- he wasn't even past 3B when he got to it.

I thought I was seeing things Pal. Remy keeps saying there would not have been a play at the plate anyway. That camera view from right behind Vic seemed to suggest that Vic was in middle to short RF and Lind was just turning third. I think Remy is just plain wrong on this one.

Agreed, but I am always surprised when one of our OFers throws out a runner at home. I got used to pop gun arms in the OF. Victorino can throw.

Boy I hate what we are doing at the plate up and down the order....making this bum look like he is on the way to the Cy Young. He is pitching a good game but this is ridiculous.

Napoli and Ellsbury are slumping this month, a bad combination for the top and middle bat. I like to see more playing time for Nava, he look lock in. Even if he doesn't pick up hits, at least he drives up pitch count.

My God this team is so fouled up right now. We have little guys trying to go yard...big guys trying to go the opposite way just trying to get their bats on the ball and then here comes that sterling bottom of the order.

More terrific defense from WMB who has improved his defense at least 100% over last year's model. Defense with the exception of the Vic play has kept them in this game
