I know it's irrational, but (emotionally) I'd almost rather give up a double than a walk. OK, there are some situations where you have to nibble and you accept the possibility of a walk. Otherwise, it's pretty frustrating to see the free pass.

I have no problem with that. His arm is good enough for 100 pitches, let him humiliate himself if that's what he wants to do. No reason to waste good bullpen arms because a s*** pitcher is getting blown out.
