Why? Masterson is pitching like...well, like Alfredo Aceves. The Sox are putting good swings on the ball. Why sacrifice an out for a run this early in the game, when the team is hitting well and driving in runs? Save that stuff for the late innings if you absolutely have to.

 

In my opinion, you do whatever you can to put runs on the board because you never know how your bats will go on an inning to inning basis. Look at last night's game we scored all of our runs in 1 inning, granted it was 7 and we won the game but you just never know
