The ballparks look empty when I have tuned in. I hate the tournament, because Selig is pimping MLB players for reasons that i don't believe benefit the US fan. Too many pitchers have fouled themselves up in this tournament for nothing. It ruined Dice K's career IMO.

I'll keep expressing it, so if you already "get it", skip over my post in this thread.

 

BTW, it was two wholly different opinions: one about the injury possibility to MLB players and the other about how the teams are formed. Pardon me if it took me a whole 3 posts to express those two thoughts. The next time I will consult you about how to be more succinct.

Did it not make his career actually? I mean it was his first national stage and not long after the sox of course paid that huge transfer fee for him, and gave him an outrageous contract. I'd say it got him recognized more than any japanese league game

True. His first WBC helped get him his MLB contract, but his second WBC ruined his career.
