If the Orioles overtake the Yankees and win the division it will be absolutely comical. I'd love to see it but after the way they celebrated on the field after the final game of last season, I'm not sure they'd be able to top it if they win the division.

Well Buch has not wanted to go back to the breaking ball as much as he was really on that pitch early in the game...not that he threw it enough for strikes but he threw the hell out of it.

I seen it all this inning. Fat dude running with beach ball, Don was in complete silent. Lavarnway made a catch on a pop up.

Did Kalish botch that play. Goodness!!! What an amateurish play. Should have been an out. He broke back letting the ball fall in and then he overran the ball letting Trout go to second base.

Buch escapes the inning with the lead intact. Had to get 4 outs thanks to Kalish but what a play by Lavarnway.

 

This is how an a 1 or 2 pitcher is supposed to pitch most nights out. When he doesn't have his good stuff, he keeps you in the game and gives you innings.

The Angels bullpen hasn't exactly been stellar this season. Would be nice to get a run or two this inning.
