The Red Sox recently sent Carl Crawford to get his vision checked.

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe says Crawford's eyes "tested fine," so they can't be blamed for his .219/.265/.219 start at the plate (or his .255/.289/.405 line last season). It's far too soon to give up on the soon-to-be 31-year-old for fantasy purposes, but he's certainly not inspiring confidence that he'll get things straightened out anytime soon. Jul 27 - 3:43 PM
