expect is that we have are full lineup or close to it trying to win some

It's not about whether Garza is an improvement. Even with Garza do you see the Sox going to the playoffs? and if so getting past the ALDS? It's still a big no for me. And with the extra wildcard and all the contenders we will have to overpay. Right now the best thing we can do is sell a little' date=' run out the year and wait for 2013, when the payroll drops and hopefully the roster is much healthier. I wouldn't mind trading for a starter during the offseason, but I'm not big on giving Hamels a big contract.[/quote']

I don't blame this on the FO at all. Who expected both Lester and Buchhholz to have an ERA over 5, and Beckett to have an ERA of 4.53 on July 22nd??
