Did you know?.......In the seventh inning, if I drink 3 beers before the second batter gets 2 strikes, and it is sunny with a 5 mph wind, and the pitcher shakes off 4 signals to throw a curveball, that is hit in to a double play, and there is a runner on 3B, and there are less than 2 outs.....well, in those situations the Redsox are undefeated.

Really? A guy that no one thought was going to be in the majors till next year, with 11 homers, 42 rbi, 3sb and a .285 average not performing to hopes. I think he has done fantastic other than not very many walks ( but he never has walked very much in the minors), so that probably won't happen soon if ever. His defense hasn't been great but from what i've read he's always done well on D in the minors so i'm sure it will improve as time goes on.

I think WMB has been fine so far. I am bit disappointed that at least to date he has adopted an approach to his plate appearances similar to a number of his mates. In his case it manifests itself in to much focus on trying to pull the ball. He seems to have power to all fields and does not have to pull to get it out or get an extra base it. Other than that and the occasional lapse in the field, I really can't complain about WMB.
