As I recall, his broken back was discovered last July. His ERA counts for this year. No mulligans in baseball. Thats golf. I want to see 2-3 good seasons from him, full seasons, before I believe he is a good person to have in our rotation over the long haul.

Again, stats are fine just not when used to death in every post. They are too easily cherry picked by guys like you so that no one can argue your point of view without getting a s*** ton more cherry picked stats dumped on them to sort out.
