Oye. They just let anyone join this site.

Don't you have to go look up stats that someone else compiled?

Sometimes it's just from over exhaustion. That's how I got it.

I don't think it's mono, just my body catching up on sleep. I hope not at least.

Buch is really leaving to many pitches up in the zone tonight. Bound to have an off night sooner or later.

Two broken bats. What are you talking about? He has made 1 mistake pitch really.

The broken bat hits were still on pitches up. I am sure he was not aiming to put those pitches where they were. So you can call it luck that they hit them or luck that he did not put those pitches in an even worse location.

Not really Pumps, the pythagoran pitch calculator says that the ones like the one he just left up in the zone was actually low in the zone in an alternate universe.

This is why I reserved judgement on Clay Buchholz until he had enough games to prove that he had changed.

He has not.

He's thrown 1 bad game in his past 5 outings. Come on man. This is an aberration. If you think he hasn't changed, I'd love to make a sig bet with you. I'd LOVE to. Please, please make one.

And the proverbial "can-o-worms" has been opened.... bring on the stats.

Wow. Buchholz getting hammered.

Back to back 2 out broken bat bloopers, then a ball that Kalish should have caught.

Sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way. But he's throwing much better than his line.

The truth is: Clay Buchholz has had ONE good full season with the Red Sox. And this year is not shaping up to being another. He has proven nothing

He had over 340 innings of sub 3.30 ERA baseball coming into this season.

Explain that, please.

I am gonna look up some stats to prove that Clay doesn't in fact suck, in fact I am close to proving that he is the leading Cy Young candidate.

And that year, he was second in the league in ERA, and led the majors in adjusted ERA.
