It's amazing how one game can make me have so many emotions. f*** this sucks. So much for going into a revenge series against Detroit with confidence.

Well, a lot of you guys may be giving up, but I am not. If they stay close by the time we get to the All-Star break, we can make a run when we get our guys back from the DL.

Yankees are starting to play well. The Rays aint going away. The sox need to hope the O's come back to the pack and that the Angels dont go on a real run. That extra playoff spot does change things a bit

We proven we can play against the Rays. We've just won a series against the O's and the Yankees have their problems too.

We're only a couple games out from the wild Card spot. With the injuries we have right now I am not to worried. Let's keep in mind as painful as this loss is. Tampa is the division leader right now and a very good team. We will rebound against Detroit tomorrow. We have Verlander Tuesday. Ugh. Well jump off that cliff when we get there. Lol

Well NativeBostonian, I understand where you are coming from and I am sticking with this team all the way through. As one already mentioned:

 

-The Yankees are really starting to play well

-The Rays despite injury problems, do the best with what they have they have that since of urgency the Red Sox are beginning to find.

-Not sure how long the Orioles can sustain their pace, but I still think they are going to continue battle for the top spot in the AL East.

 

Boston is playing much better ball than they were a month ago, but they have put themselves in a tough spot as they are forced to dig their way out of the cellar. They can't continue to trade wins with the division leaders. Somehow the Red Sox are going to have to win series's (2-1, 3-1, and maybe 2-2) if they're going to really make a dent in the AL East standings.
