Did you SEE the replay? No way was the fan being a douche.

And if he WASN'T being a douche, why did he throw the ball back to Ross??

V does not leave his guys room for anything.....I am sorry but that just does not make any sense. Often it is like this as well...not even two outs...sometimes you can say well OK he has two outs and he is trying to save one reliever by giving the starter a chance to end the inning. However Buch was not going to get out of this inning. It would have taken a miracle.

And as usual all the runs are charged to the starter anyway so you leave the guy helpless in the dugout just watching his ERA going up more. I am not saying V is the problem. As I have said before though V is so much like that very last straw that goes on the pile as you hear the camel's back go CRACK.

YES I did. Get the f*** out of the way!!!!!

He ducks, it hits person next to him. He didn't reach oout over the fence. Ross wasn't getting that ball while sliding on his ass.

Valentine failed Buchholz by not having Hill ready one batter early IMO. He should have replaced him either when the first guy reached or after the second guy reached. He has a bullpen, but fails to use it well. His bullpen, as bad as it is, is better than his SP. He is almost as bad as Francona in that regard.

Ross had no chance...he does not have the speed to have gotten over there to make that play and the Tommy B play from years ago that everybody remembers was a once in a lifetime play. Sweeney would not have made it either. Ells would have made it and hurt himself.

I thought he had good velocity and good location.

But it was the lefties that turn on the pitches. It's still amaze me that the team has 3 LOOGY that just absolutely stinks.

Punto is caught dancing to a punch out on his way to 1st base more than any batter I have ever seen.

to make him feel better for not catching it

I didn't see who threw the ball back in the Zapruder film.

It was not a great performance by Buch but it was far from terrible. To many walks for sure but i liked the way he mixed in his pitches tonight...I actually think he did that better tonight than in any other start he has made this year.

s*** I think Ortiz might have hurt his ankle or foot on that play at first base.
